If You Own a Digital Camera or Drone The Caribbean Image Bank Photography Project Will Help You Make Money in 2021 and Beyond...
The Caribbean Image Bank Project to train and develop 1000 Caribbean Photographers over the next 6 months launches Thursday 28th January 2021 and you are invited to sign up.
The Caribbean Image Bank is a stock photography agency specializing in Caribbean images for sale to a global clientele. As a Caribbean Image Bank contributing photographer you will earn up to an industry topping 35% of the sale of your images.
Renowned Caribbean Photographer and Photo Educator Kirk Elliott is the driving force behind this project. The project was conceptualized from a discussion with the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) about two years ago and the COVID-19 pandemic has created an opportune environment for rolling it out at this time.
Now while 1000 photographers seems a lot, this invitation is going out to 15 Caribbean islands, which means less than 100 photographers per island!
So sign up early to avoid missing out.

OECS Endorsed & Supported
The idea for a Caribbean Image Bank came out of a conversation back in 2018 between the OECS and photographer Kirk Elliott. The OECS' Communications Division instantly loved the idea, having themselves been challenged by a dearth of readily available Caribbean images for their numerous publications.
The Communications Team's excitement at the idea of a Caribbean Image Bank grew even greater as they thought of all the other agencies faced with a similar challenge finding "perfect" Caribbean images for their numerous reports and presentations. However things didn't quite fall into place to roll out the project back then, so though it was a great idea it was placed on hold.
Then in 2020 COVID-19 appeared seemingly out of the blue and suddenly the idea of a Caribbean Image Bank is now more timely than ever...
But Who is Kirk Elliott and Why Should I Listen to Him Anyway?
Greetings Fellow Photographer/Photo Enthusiast,

The countless 5 Star reviews the Photo Tour enjoys tell the stories of so many photographers I have helped take their passion for photography to a whole new level of excellence through my uniquely counter intuitive approach to photography.
.
... and Just a few months ago the German Corporation for International Cooperation GmbH (GIZ), in association with the OECS, commissioned me to design and conduct a Photography Workshop and Photo Competition across OECS member states to draw attention to the problem of Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change (HMCCC).

Who Will Buy Your Images
Now you might be wondering who will buy Caribbean images – and this too was my initial wonder. But as I discussed the idea with organisations such as the OECS and the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) I came to realize there is a much greater demand for impactful Caribbean images than meet the eye.
Best of all because in many instances these buyers are large organizations they often have communications budgets that allow them to make image purchases on an ongoing basis.
Here Are a Few of the Clients You Can Expect
• Airlines
• Caribbean Associations abroad
• Caribbean Businesses
• Caribbean Development Bank
• Caribbean Nationals in the diaspora
• Caribbean Tourism Associations
• Cruise Lines
• International Labour Organisation (ILO)
• International Monetary Fund (IMF)
• OECS
• UNESCO
• United Nations (UN)
• World Bank
… and I’m sure you can think of even more organizations needing Caribbean images now that you’re thinking about it.
How Much Will Images Sell For?
The cost of images will depend on the uniqueness of the image as well as the Usage Rights a client wishes to purchase.
As an example, if an image will be used online only it will fetch a different price than if it is to be used on a billboard in London or New York, just as an example.
Preliminary studies suggest images should sell for no less than U$50.00 each.
At this price this is a U$12.50 - $17.50 payout to you. So with the sale of just 16 images at $50.00 each you would have earned U$200.00 and in so doing covered your investment in this Master Class.
Then every sale after this is money in the bank for you!
What Images Sell For
A friend in Canada shared this image with me having learnt of the Caribbean Image Bank
When he told me he paid CAN $600.00 to a popular online stock photography agency for it this further confirmed that we are on to something BIG!
Asking Clients What Images They Need
The Caribbean Image Bank will develop relationships with a broad cross section of both Caribbean as well as international organisations. We will ask then on an ongoing basis what images will they be needing and through our monthly Photographers' Newsletter you will get to know what images are most in demand. This will allow you to create images with the greatest potential for sale.
This approach will also allow photographers in each island to know what images specific to their island are in demand. This is yet another powerful feature to help you land more sales.
OK Kirk - So How Much Does Signing Up Cost?
Well I'm glad you ask...
